About
QWRAP Launches New Funding Rounds Model for 2025–26
QWRAP is piloting a new funding rounds model for the remainder of the project deed (to June 2026). This transition reflects the QWRAP Partner Steering Committee’s commitment to keeping the program contemporary and continuously improving how we support regional collaboration.
The updated funding approach reinforces QWRAP’s ongoing commitment to strengthening water and sewerage service delivery across regional Queensland – through collaboration, sustainability, and resilience.
By introducing a structured funding model, we aim to provide QWRAP Alliances with greater transparency around funding availability and timelines, while also encouraging the development of strong, high quality applications.
What’s Changing
QWRAP will now allocate funding through scheduled rounds, assessed on a rolling basis, with a total pool of $1,396,000.00 available for 2025–26 projects. Funding rounds will only proceed while funds remain available.
